Atelier ABT introduced a hybrid version of the crossover Audi Q5May 1, 2020
The German tuning company has developed a set of upgrades for the mid-size crossover Audi Q5 in the hybrid TFSIe modification. The car boasts 420 hp.
The manufacturer of the crazy crazy Audi RS6 Avant hybrid station wagon, ABT Sportsline, which has donated more than 1000 horsepower to this luxury car, is currently presenting a tuning kit for the electrified version of the mid-size Audi Q5 crossover. It’s about Q5 in the TFSIe hybrid specification.
The tuner took the already powerful version of the 55 TFSIe with a total hybrid motor power of 362 horsepower (500 Nm) and increased these figures to a respectable 420 hp. and 550 Nm, respectively.
Power gain was obtained by upgrading a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The tuner from Kempten does not mention anything about the new dynamic characteristics of the crossover, but it goes without saying that the added performance brings advantages in terms of acceleration. The standard Q5 55 TFSIe reaches the first “hundred” in 5.3 seconds. This may not seem like an impressive result, but let’s keep in mind that we are dealing with a heavy car – 2,030 kg without a driver.
ABT Sportsline offers similar upgrades for the smaller version of the Q50 TFSIe – in this case, a former power of 295 hp. (450 Nm) rises to 353 hp (500 Nm) respectively. After these changes, the crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 6.1 seconds.
