At the Nurburgring seen a prototype station wagon BMW 5 Series 2021April 30, 2020
Journalists stole a camouflaged prototype of the updated Bavarian station wagon BMW 5 Series. The debut of the new 2021 model year is scheduled for the end of this year.
As part of this video, which appeared on the Statesidesupercars channel on YouTube, you can see how a test pilot of the Bavarian brand conducts high-speed tests on the German Nurburgring race track. It can be seen that the driver does not spare the car, but the tire gets especially – throughout the entire clip there is a wild squeal from the tires. According to rumors, the updated version of the 5 Series sedan / wagon should debut before the end of the year.
In any case, aggressive driving in this clip distracts us from observing the changes that will occur in the BMW 5 Series 2021 model year.
These mid-cycle updates for the current generation of the model are not dramatic – the front of the car will receive new headlights and a false radiator grille – the latter has become only slightly larger compared to the current model. The front bumper “abandoned” some rounded elements in favor of clearer lines.
The changes look less significant at the rear of the car. The bumper and trapezoidal tailpipes of the exhaust system do not seem to have changed. The new taillights have become thinner, which can lead to small changes in the tailgate. Minor updates can get the interior of the wagon.
Expect an updated Touring 5 Series sedan and station wagon later this year. New items will go on sale as a 2021 model year car.
