At the Nurburgring seen a prototype of the updated Hyundai i30 NJuly 4, 2019
The new “spy” photos show camouflaged even more powerful versions of the Hyundai i30 N, which is probably the special unit car announced by the brand’s CEO.
Over the past few years, Hyundai has introduced a lot of powerful cars. In 2017, the South Korean automaker showed the first of its kind hot hatch i30 N, which became competitors to high-performance Ford Focus ST, Volkswagen Golf GTI and Peugeot 308 GTi. Since then, the company has expanded the range of its sports division Hyundai N, and it seems that soon there will be an even more powerful version of the model Hyundai i30 N.
“Spy” photos show new aerodynamic parts of the body that will be combined with a carbon fiber hood and fairly light but durable wheels. Lightweight sport seats will appear in the cabin.
While the car will not be able to boast an increase in power, it will still become faster and more dynamic than the current versions of the i30 N. Freaky camouflage really makes it difficult to recognize the new exterior – which parts of the body are new and which are transferred from the current i30 N is not understood.
It is known that the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine has two levels of power. The entry-level I30 N boasts 250 horsepower, while the Performance Pack version increases this number to a respectable 275 hp. If the 250-strong version of the hatchback acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 6.4 seconds, the more powerful version does it in 6.2 seconds. The maximum speed for both versions is 250 km / h.
