Aston Martin will release 25 Bond’s DB5August 20, 2018
Aston Martin will release 25 replicas of the classic sports car DB5, which in 1964 starred in the third James Bond film Goldfinger. This is reported by Autocar.
By their characteristics, cars will be as close to the original car as possible. At the same time, the novelty will receive some proprietary “spy” functions, such as rotating mounts for license plates.
The development of the modern DB5 will be occupied by specialists of the Q Division, who are responsible for creating special versions of Aston Martin cars. The assembly will be carried out at the enterprise in Newport Pagnel.
In the UK, Aston Martin DB5 will cost about 3.3 million pounds sterling. In addition to the 25 cars that will be on sale, the British will collect three more copies of DB5. One company will leave it to itself, the second will be presented by Eon Productions (owns the franchise rights), and the third will be sold at a charity auction.
