Aston Martin Unveils Bond’s Versions For Vantage And DBS SuperleggeraAugust 17, 2020
Special version 007 Edition is dedicated to the appearance on the screens of a new film about the English special agent James Bond, the idol of millions of viewers around the world. Cars in this design are already available for order.
Special Projects Division Q by Aston Martin has decided to respond to the premiere of another James Bond film with the release of a limited edition of two powerful cars of the brand – the sports car Aston Martin Vantage and the flagship supercar DBS Superleggera.
The name of the special series is 007 Edition. It is known that while working on this project, the brand’s specialists were looking for inspiration in old paintings about the famous agent. The circulation in both cases will be by piece. So, the Vantage coupe will be released in the amount of one hundred cars, and the DBS Superleggera – only 25 copies.
The Vantage 007 Edition Coupe will remind fans of the great Bond of the V8 Vantage that appeared in the 15th James Bond movie, Sparks from the Eyes. Such a sports car will be painted in the shade of Cumberland Gray, decorated with a grille with a mesh pattern and a chrome frame, and will also be equipped with a yellow decor recognizable for movie lovers (as on the original coupe from the film).
The interior was decorated with black leather, logos with the name of the series, etc. Under the armrest you can find a schematic image of the remote control – with its help you can “launch” spy gadgets.
For “Bond” Vantage will have to pay £ 161,000
DBS Superleggera gets the same stylish shade, carbon fiber inserts, brutal 21-inch wheels in gloss black, special nameplates, black interior trim with contrasting red accents, etc. This supercar costs 279,025 pounds sterling
Meanwhile, the premium SUV Lexus LX has received a limited edition Inspiration special edition. The new SUV is intended for the US car market. It is known that the Japanese will release only 500 copies of the “special” SUVs.
