In the next James Bond movie, three Aston Martin cars will appear – the classic DB5 and V8 sports cars, as well as the new Valhalla supercar. This is stated in the official twitter of the British brand, which contains a photograph of the performer as 007 agent Daniel Craig and Prince Charles, posing against the background of two cars.
The new part of the bondian, bearing the working title “Bond 25”, will be released in 2020. Earlier on the Internet there was a video from the shooting of a painting in the north of Norway, where the classic Aston Martin V8 Vantage was spotted. Before this car appeared in the movie “Sparks of the Eyes” in 1987 with Timothy Dalton in the title role.
As for the DB5 model, it first appeared in the third installment of the James Bond series “Goldfinger” in 1964, and was last used in the 2012 film “007: Skyfall Coordinates. Recently, the British have begun to build a modern version of the classic model, which will be released in an edition of 25 copies. The cost of the car was 2.75 million pounds.
Mid-engine hypercar Valhalla is still under development. In the German-Scandinavian mythology, this is the name of the heavenly palace in Asgard, where warriors who fell in battle are poisoned. The car will receive a hybrid power plant based on a new gasoline engine V6 with two turbines, which will work together with auxiliary electric motors. According to preliminary data, the total output of the units will exceed 1000 horsepower.
At the same time, it was previously reported that in the next part of the bondiana, the main vehicle of agent 007 would be the first all-electric Aston Martin model – Rapid E. The idea to use the “green” car belongs to director Kary Fukunage, who is an active environmentalist.
