Aston Martin showed a prototype of its new speedsterOctober 7, 2020
The British automaker has released pictures of its “new” model. It is a spectacular speedster with a powerful V12 engine. The car received many interesting features, including a huge price and a relatively small circulation.
Literally a few hours ago, Aston Martin unveiled its new exclusive model – a spectacular speedster with a powerful V12 engine under the hood. Initially unveiled in early March, the company’s impressive creation is now in its prototype stage. On the occasion, Aston Martin has released new images showing the vehicle, which is reportedly “entering a dynamic development phase through open testing.”
For some reason, the all-black prototype was registered with the UK Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency as painted green.
The car was registered last month with a 5.2-liter V12 engine fitted with a pair of turbochargers. Aston Martin says the speedster has roughly 700 horsepower. (753 Nm), transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
If the styling of this car seems a little familiar, it is because the V12 Speedster “takes inspiration” from the design of the CC100 Speedster concept, unveiled in 2013 to mark Aston Martin’s centenary. That car also had a V12 and had no roof.
You are looking at a car that costs 950,000 dollars excluding options. The car will be produced in only 88 copies. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of next year.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the forgotten supercar Aston Martin from the 70s will be restored. The British firm Classic Motor Cars has announced that it has begun restoring the world’s only supercar Aston Martin Bulldog. This information on Tuesday, September 22, was shared by the Autoevolution agency.
