Aston Martin made 1115-strong “Valkyrie” for the trackMarch 6, 2018
Company Aston Martin has presented on a motor show in Geneva a track modification of hypercar Valkyrie – AMR Pro. The machine can generate more than one ton of downforce, and the output of its hybrid plant is over 1115 horsepower.
To achieve these metrics, the company revised every Valkyrie aerodynamic element. In particular, the body of the hypercar has undergone a change, the front and rear fenders have increased. In addition, the algorithm of active components has changed.
Body panels and longitudinal levers of the machine are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, the front and side windows are made of polycarbonate. The hypercar is equipped with a lightweight exhaust system. After the modifications, the weight of the Valkyrie AMR Pro was only 1,000 kilograms.
The model is equipped with a hybrid powerplant, which includes a 6.5-liter V12 Cosworth engine and an energy recovery system similar to that used in Formula 1 cars. On a direct car can accelerate to 360 kilometers per hour.
Earlier it was reported that buyers of the track Valkyrie will be granted access to the same simulators and sports programs used by the pilots of the Red Bull team. For each owner of the hypercar will be available to the program of individual training with the admission to the racing simulator of Formula-1.
