Aston Martin introduced the first sports bikeNovember 5, 2019
At EICMA in Milan, Aston Martin and Brough Superior demonstrated a sports bike featuring the Aston logo for the first time.
In total, 100 units of this motorcycle will be produced, and each of them will cost 108 thousand euros.
When developing the Aston Martin AMB 001, experts took as a basis the mid-range model range of the British brand, which includes Valkyrie and Valhalla. The sports bike is based on an aluminum and titanium chassis bolted to a motor and a carbon-plastic subframe.
The motorcycle is distinguished by the presence of a Foir fork with separate levers for control and cushioning, a pendulum with progressive damping parameters and small stainless steel wings in front and on the fuel tank.
Thanks to the arrangement of the Fior fork, it was possible to reduce pecking during sharp decelerations and leave the geometry as it was. Brakes are racing with a radial main cylinder. The AMB 001 model received a turbocharged Brough Superior powerplant. Its working volume is 997 cubic cm, and productivity is an average of 180 hp.
The power unit, along with a 6-speed mechanical transmission, has water and oil cooling systems, semi-dry crankcases, a turbocharger with a modified impeller geometry and an Inconel flame-retardant intake manifold.
In addition, the tuners recently pumped the Honda Monkey 125 motorcycle. The motorcycle acquired LED headlights and a redesigned overall.
