Aston Martin has registered a new trade name ValenMarch 30, 2019
Today it became known that in October last year, the guys from Aston Martin registered a new product name Valen. So far it is not clear what car it was made for.
The British automaker – the company Aston Martin, it seems, is working on the names of its updated line of cars. This month, brand CEO Andy Palmer hinted that the production version of the AM-RB 003 hypercar concept, which was presented at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, will be called Valhalla. Apparently the guys from Aston Martin are very inspired by Scandinavian legends. According to the legends, Valhalla is the place where all real heroes will fall after death and will always feast there.
Now, a new product name has appeared on the horizon, which Aston Martin is ready to offer in the future.
Representatives of the British sports car manufacturer turned to the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office in order to register the name Valen. It is reported that it was in October 2018.
It should be noted that in most cases, automakers tend not to use the names to which they filed patent documents earlier, and this is normal. Most of them file trademarks just in case.
If the hints of Mr. Palmer, one would assume that under the name Valen there will be a serial version of the previously presented concept of the hypercar AM-RB 003. It may well be that the guys from Aston Martin are going to present another supercar or hypercar in the near future. will get a new name.
