Aston Martin has once again turned to German-Scandinavian mythology and has registered the Valhalla trademark with the European Patent Office. According to preliminary information, in honor of the “heavenly dwelling of brave warriors” can call the product version of the mid-engine coupe, known by the inter-plant index Project 003.
The first sketch of the new Aston Martin hypercar showed in September. At the same time it became known that this would be a more practical and suitable for daily use version of the “Valkyrie”. Project 003 will receive a luggage compartment and will be certified for all markets.
Built around the carbon monocoque Project 003 will equip the gasoline-electric power plant based on the turbo engine V8 or V12. The manufacturer promises a set of active aerodynamics, like the older Valkyrie, and an adaptive suspension.
Project 003 will be limited to 500 copies. Deliveries of the first copies to customers will begin on before 2021.
As for the Aston Martin Valkyrie, the appearance of the serial machine revealed the Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maedzawa. In his Instagram account, he posted a photo of the moment when the 3D model of the hypercar was being drawn according to its own specification.
