Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante caught without camouflageOctober 25, 2018
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera convertible will be identical to the standard version except for the possibility of opening the roof. Now we have the opportunity to look at the car without any camouflage.
A rainy autumn day seems to be completely unsuitable for a test ride on a convertible. However, Aston Martin continued to test the new soft-roofed DBS Superleggera Volante. The model is not yet officially presented, but road tests are now underway without any camouflage.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante soft cover actually looks a bit like a standard coupe roof. But still the difference is noticeable in the small rear window. In addition, on the back we can see an active aerodynamic spoiler operating at high speed.
In the technical part, the coupe and the convertible are likely to be identical. Under the hood will be installed 5.2-liter biturbo V12 engine capable of developing up to 715 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. But the dynamics of the model may suffer due to aerodynamic differences.
It’s not clear when the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante debuts. Presumably, the initial cost of a convertible will be about $ 305,000
