The new version of the coupe is dedicated to winning the brand in the competition of 24 hours of Le Mans “in 1959. At the moment, only the first copy is assembled, equipped with a 5.2-liter V12 engine with a capacity of up to 725 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
And so, the rather exclusive Aston Martin DBS coupe is now offered in an even more exclusive version of the DBS 59. The model is produced by a special Q by Aston Martin branch upon special order from the British dealer Aston Martin Cambridge. It is planned to release only 24 copies, and the first one has already been assembled. A special version is dedicated to the Aston Martin victory in the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance competition. Each of the cars is dedicated to every hour of racing.
By the way, that year the Aston Martin team took the first two places. The DBR1 was controlled by Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby, the second car was Maurice Trintignan and Paul Frere.
A special feature of the special version of the DBS 59 is the body color in green Aston Martin Racing Green, carbon-fiber decorative elements, as well as bronze accents in the exterior and interior design. In the salon there are seats with upholstery imitating the finishing of Leman cars, bronze underwheel switches and an emblem of a special version embroidered on the seats.
As a power unit used 5.2-liter V12 engine capable of developing up to 725 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Together with him works an automatic transmission on eight steps. Acceleration to “hundreds” takes only 3.4 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 342 km / h.
