Aston Martin AM-RB 003 – is an exquisite valkyrieMarch 5, 2019
The model practically does not differ from Valkiria, but it has its own peculiarities, including a new engine, as well as an active rear wing. But in comparison with its predecessor, the model looks more “urban” than the track one.
Aston Martin in the 20th century made its name as a manufacturer of large, fast and convenient grand tours, but in the 21st century, it is trying to establish itself as a manufacturer of hypercars with a mid-engine layout. This is confirmed by the latest novelty presented at the Geneva Motor Show. A model called the Aston Martin AM-RB 003 will enter the family of new supercars along with Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro.
M-RB 003 shares the design concept with Valkyrie, but it looks more collected and ready for normal urban use. The front splitter looks slightly taller and less noticeable. The tail sits below and hides the rear spoiler, which is not so noticeable, but much more technologically advanced. Also, a new exhaust system with forked pipes, instead of a single “grille”.
A slightly more conservative corps makes sense, since Aston Martin expects 003 to become more massive than Valkyrie. But expect the usual mass production is not worth it. The model will receive a strictly limited series, with an as yet unknown number of copies. Under the hood will be hidden turbocharged V6 engine, which is part of the hybrid system.
Unfortunately, many details of the model remained undisclosed. The serial version will appear no earlier than 2021, and technical details will be available closer to this time.
