Asian electric supercar Vega EVX will be presented in GenevaFebruary 18, 2020
The official presentation of the 804-horsepower electric supercar Vega EVX will take place at the Geneva Motor Show, which is scheduled for March this year.
Announced as the first electric supercar in South Asia, the EVX is a stylish, handmade coupe with a carbon fiber bodywork. The Sri Lankan company said almost nothing about its new product. From published official images, we can find out that the coupe received an aggressive front end that mimics the one used on the Italian Ferrari 458 Italia. Moving further back, we can see convex wings, side “scoops” and carbon fiber exterior elements.
Other noteworthy features include LED daytime running lights, a windshield and a massive diffuser. There is also a ventilated rear panel and very wide brake lights.
The only interior image of the Asian novelty can show us little – the center console with leather and carbon fiber trim. The console also features a Spark Connected wireless smartphone charger.
In terms of performance, the EVX has two electric motors that provide the supercar with four-wheel drive, as well as a total power of 804 hp. (760 Nm). They allow 2,090 kilogram cars to accelerate to a speed of 100 km / h in 3.1 seconds.
It is reported that by 2021, the production versions of this electric car will be able to get a 130 kWh battery, so the power reserve will be 750 km.
