Armored version of the Audi RS7 Sportback: safer, harder and fasterJuly 10, 2019
A special version designed for increased personal safety of passengers and the driver turned out to be faster by 0.81 seconds of the standard modification. In addition, the model is equipped with a smoke screen, blinding optics, external speakers, as well as electric shock in the door handles.
AddArmor introduced a unique armored version of the Audi RS7 Sportback. Engineers tried to maintain dynamic performance, but provide a high level of security. They succeeded, but the final price tag was $ 205,000. The model is available only on pre-order.
To reduce the weight of armor, special polycarbonate materials were used. As a result, the armored car is only 91 kg heavier than the production version. Unfortunately, the degree of protection is not reported. It can be assumed that the model is able to protect against automatic firearms and grenades. Acceleration to 100 khp takes only 2.9 seconds, thanks to forced up to 760 forces and 1,085 Nm of torque.
No less interesting is the new liftback equipment, including: a smoke screen system, dazzling optics, an electric shock in the door handles, special tires, a mine detection system, a circular video review, an onboard gas mask and specialized cabin air filters.
Thanks to an innovative approach to booking cars, AddArmor was able to create the fastest armored car.
