Arcfox N61 flagship sedan made it to the conveyorJuly 25, 2020
The new Arcfox brand, part of the BAIC Group, made a name for itself at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Now the young brand has launched the production of its flagship – an electric sedan, still known as the N61.
BAIC’s Zhenjiang plant has launched a new flagship electric sedan under the Arcfox brand. The novelty does not yet have an official name – it is designated by the code N61. The market debut of the electric car is scheduled for early 2021.
Recall, in addition to the new sedan, the plant produces another model from Arcfox – the Arcfox α-T electric crossover. This SUV will kick off next month.
It is planned that the brand will offer customers two modifications of the Arcfox N61. These will be electric cars with one 218 hp engine and two 435 hp. The capacity of the batteries available for the novelty varies from 55 to 99 kWh. Without recharging, the “green” sedan will travel 450-680 kilometers – it all depends on the installed battery.
The dimensions of the electric car are comparable to Hyundai Sonata: length – 4930 mm with a wheelbase of 2 915 mm.
Little is known about the sedan’s equipment: they are tipped with matrix LED optics, a head-up display, an autopilot, “smart” multimedia that supports voice commands. The manufacturer will clearly not stop there.
Meanwhile, Roewe has unveiled its first electric sedan, the ER6. The market debut of the battery novelty in China is promised to be organized by the end of the summer. Roewe ER6 gets six airbags, climate control, all-round cameras and much more.
