Appeared the first photos of the next generation Audi S3 SedanJuly 1, 2019
The new party of “spy” pictures of the German news, gives us the very first look at the next-generation A3 sedan. In particular, we believe that this is not just an updated version of the sedan, but its high-performance version S3.
Judging by the photographs of the German novelty, which appeared at the disposal of our publication a couple of minutes ago, the front part of the noted sedan is the same as the version of the model in the hatchback body.
However, this prototype carries less camouflage and you can see its large air intakes in the corners of the front bumper, which also best identifies this car as a “charged” version of the S3.
The roof line looks very similar to the existing model. The overall design makes the A3 sedan look like a slightly smaller version of the current performance of the A4 model. Also worth noting is an interesting design for two-spoke wheels, which adds a jagged style to their traditional look. The back of the car also helps to identify it as S3 – dual tailpipes of the exhaust system, and between them there is a diffuser. “Skinny” rear lights look beautiful.
So far, there is little information about the composition of the motor range of the new S3. Rumors suggest that the model will still use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a capacity of 300 to 320 hp. We expect the new A3 to debut in Europe in 2019, and the “charged” S3 to follow in 2020.
