Appeared spy photos of the new Honda Urban EVNovember 22, 2018
A conceptual version of the all-electric Honda Urban EV was shown at last year’s motor show in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
Currently, engineers of the Japanese automobile brand Honda are working on the creation of an electric hatchback Urban. Apply for this new product will be available early next year.
Foreign journalists were able to what is called being in the right place at the right time – they were lucky enough to take a few shots of a prototype of a city electric hatchback.
The car is completely covered with camouflage film. I must say that the front of the new product looks very … nice – for the most part because of the round LED lights. It can be noted that, compared with the presented concept, the prototype has two passenger doors. The handles of these same doors are not visible – they are either covered with camouflage or hidden in racks. And the front door seems to have become a bit already.
Interestingly, the seen prototype has tiny side cameras instead of ordinary mirrors – for the first time, we saw this solution in the Lexus ES. But most likely, at the start of sales, Honda Urban will be available with the usual side mirrors – for the use of cameras you need to prepare a legislative framework.
So far, little is known about the technical characteristics of the all-electric urban hatchback from Honda. However, according to insiders, the batteries will allow the model to drive 250 kilometers on a single charge. The start of sales of electric vehicles is scheduled in Europe at the end of 2019.
