Appearance of the updated Renault Clio shown on a scale modeJanuary 15, 2019
Restyled hatchback Renault Clio will get the front in the spirit of Megane
Renault will soon present the fourth generation of the new Clio hatchback – the cars in camouflage have already been photographed during the tests. But the appearance was revealed ahead of time due to the scale modelka.
The 1:43 scale model is released by Ixo Models, and is already available in selected online stores. Judging by the description, not the basic version of the hatchback is depicted, but the more expensive version of the Clio RS-Line in a sporty spirit.
In the photo you can see that the front of the hatchback is redesigned in the spirit of the older model Megane: the updated Clio will receive large C-shaped headlights and a hood with embossed longitudinal edges converging to the Renault emblem. In addition, it is noticeable that the sidewall design became less expressive: the slyly curved trim on the doors was replaced by a simple horizontal molding.
The freshened Clio of the fourth generation should be officially introduced in early 2019. It will probably happen at the Geneva Motor Show in March. This will be the second update for the model of the fourth generation: last time a small restyling was done in 2016.
