Apollo has published a teaser for hypercar IE in an even more powerful version of the GT1March 4, 2019
The official presentation of the racing version of the hypercar will be held at the Geneva Motor Show. So far, there is no exact data on the power unit of the novelty – according to rumors, there will be a V12 engine under the hood.
journalists were able to capture the new version of the Apollo IE hypercar, near the venue of the Geneva Motor Show. It was noted that the car engine produces an absolutely magical sound.
In the recently published teaser, we are offered for the first time to look at the fully ready-to-manufacture racing version of Apollo Automobil Intensa Emozione. The car will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show, which will begin its work tomorrow, March 05.
The automaker does not yet provide a lot of details about the new version of your car, including about which racing series the car will participate in.
According to the press service of the brand, the racing version of the hypercar will be called the GT1. I note that this is somewhat strange, since the GT1 racing class has long ceased to exist.
The teaser does not mention the powerplant of the novelty, but the Intensa Emozione GT1 probably uses an upgraded version of the 6.3-liter V12 with its 780 horsepower and 759 Nm of torque. If the regular version of the model weighs only 1250 kilograms, it can be assumed that its racing performance will receive less weight. I also note that a huge amount of carbon fiber is used in standard Apollo IE.
It is known that Apollo will create 10 copies of Intensa Emozione, each of which will be sold for 2.6 million dollars. It is not clear whether there is a GT1 racing version among these planned autos.
