Another competitor Tesla Model S will be releasedApril 17, 2020
California-based Karma Automotive in the first half of 2021 will show its own debut electric car.
The new model will be included in the Revero family, and it will acquire a GTE prefix for the name. The electric car will be available in three different variations, in particular, “long-range” with autonomy of about 644 km. Revero GTE will compete with the Tesla Model S.
The new model will be based on the previously announced E-Flex architecture, and it will also receive certain electronic systems created jointly with partners.
Initially, the youngest and medium variations of the Revero GTE with 75 and 100 kW / h batteries will appear in the car market. Lithium-ion batteries will allow the electric car to travel on a single charge within 322 – 483 km. Later, the flagship version of Hyper Range with an autonomy of 644 km will be released. From the high-speed terminal to 80%, the battery will be filled in 30 minutes.
All Karma models will be assembled by hand at the Innovation and Customization Center in California, USA. In the fall of next year, the manufacturer plans to expand to the Chinese and European car markets. The cost is still unknown, but pre-orders will begin to be taken very soon.
