Analogue Hyundai Santa Fe from Haima will be on sale July 8June 19, 2019
The new Haima 8S crossover, which debuted at the April Shanghai auto show, is ready to enter the home market. A novelty is called a serial copy of the flagship Hyundai Santa Fe of the new model year.
July 8, Chinese motorists will have access to the new Haima 8S crossover. The preliminary prices for the new product are already known: for the most affordable cross, you will have to pay 86 thousand yuan, and the maximum price tag reaches 130 thousand yuan. In total, six complete sets of the new SUV will be available for purchase, but the engine is the only one. This is a 1.6-liter 195-horsepower turbo engine, combined with either 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. Over time, the manufacturer promises to release a hybrid version of the Haima 8S with a 1.2-liter turbo engine and seven-speed robotic gearbox.
The first public mention of the new product dates back to April 2018, when it became known as the Haima SG00. In January of this year, the name changed, and already at the Shanghai Motor Show, the novelty was presented as Haima 8S.
Interestingly, in the exterior of the new Chinese cross-country found many parallels with the Hyundai Santa Fe. Among them – a large grille in the shape of an elongated hexagon, two-level optics, LED rear lights, combined in a monoblock, etc. Experts call Baojun RS-5, Changan CS55, Haval H6 and Dongfeng Fengshen AX7 among the main rivals of the novelty.
