An updated crossover Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 spotted on testsNovember 15, 2018
Journalists captured a test prototype of the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and GLC 63 Coupe.
One of those models that is captured here is the next generation, and the other restyling of the existing version of the crossover.
These two German crossovers from the Mercedes-AMG sports division are united by the fact that there is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 power unit under their hoods.
Today, SUV segment cars, that is, crossovers and SUVs, are gaining more and more popularity. The German brand Mercedes-Benz has succeeded in this regard – in its model range there are crossovers for every taste, ranging from the very small to the huge, full-fledged SUVs.
A couple of hours ago, “spy” photos of high-performance versions of two German crossovers, the GLC 63 and the GLE 63 Coupe, were at the disposal of our automobile publication. If the first car is an updated version of the “charged” crossover from a sports brand, then the second one is a completely new car generation.
In accordance with the plans of the German brand, a new generation of the GLC crossover should be introduced next year. A test prototype of a high-performance version of the car received camouflage on the front and rear bumpers. The front grille also remains hidden – here one can hardly expect any major changes.
Note that the usual versions of the GLE crossover appeared at the beginning of this year, and we expect that the performance from Mercedes-AMG will be presented by the end of the decade. It is possible that under the hood of the car will be a 600-horsepower engine.
