An updated crossover Jaguar F-Pace was spotted on testsSeptember 9, 2020
Automobile publications have published “spy” photos from tests of the updated crossover Jaguar F-Pace. According to rumors, the official presentation of new items should take place at the end of this year.
We’ve been following the updated Jaguar F-Pace crossover for some time now, both in the standard version and in the more powerful SVR. Today we finally received a new batch of “spy” photos that reveal more details about the new product than the previous pictures. These photos probably hint that a full-fledged crossover debut could take place later this year.
It’s safe to say that this will be a very conservative facelift of the British brand’s flagship crossover.
The new images seem to confirm that the front end will receive a new false radiator grille flanked by sharper headlights for a more aggressive look.
According to rumors, the new car will receive updated taillights with different internal graphics, a modified diffuser on the rear bumper. From the published photos, this test prototype is equipped with a dual exhaust system and, judging by the pipes directed towards the ground, is likely equipped with a diesel engine. Previous spy photos have shown that the high-performance SVR will be fitted with a twin-tailpipe exhaust system.
The interior of the new Jaguar F-Pace is still a mystery, but at least we can see that there is some kind of laptop or tablet attached to the dashboard in this test car. It hints at a revamped infotainment system, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the overall layout of the center console gets big changes.
Information on the engine range for the updated crossover is sparse, but we expect most of the current engines to remain on sale.
Not so long ago, we wrote that sales of the basic version of the Jaguar I-Pace 2021 crossover began in Europe. The basic equipment of the electric crossover Jaguar I-Pace of the 2021 model year was quietly presented on the German market. The newest car, which has received the designation EV320 SE, will be available for purchase only until the end of this year.
