An updated copy of Renault Koleos appeared on saleMarch 25, 2020
This car lives in China and is manufactured under the brand name Dongfeng. And if certain parallels are traced in the appearance of these crossovers, then their price tags are significantly different. “Chinese” is noticeably cheaper.
Dongfeng launched in the home market selling an updated version of the T5 crossover and its extended version of the T5L. After the upgrade, the SUV got a new automatic gearbox and an expanded list of available options. Recall that the appearance (especially in the front) of the Dongfeng T5 has much in common with the new Renault Koleos. But the prices for Chinese cross are much cheaper. The standard T5 reaches a length of 4,550 mm with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. You can buy it in six versions.
The elongated T5L receives three rows of seats, which is why its length grows by 230 mm – up to 4,780 mm. The list of available trim levels is a bit more modest – four versions.
The engine range of the Chinese copy of Koleos includes a one and a half liter turbo engine with 150 hp. and a 1.6-liter 204-horsepower supercharged engine. Previously, the first power unit was combined with a 6MKPP or CVT. Now the base motor has gained access to a six-speed automatic. The “senior” engine, as before, is paired with a seven-speed “robot”. Drive – non-alternative front.
The list of options available for the new items includes virtual “tidy”, multimedia with a giant vertical touchscreen, climate control, video surveillance cameras and much more. The cost of new items in the Middle Kingdom starts from 69,900 yuan. The maximum price limit reaches the mark of 176,900 yuan
