At the request of the buyer, it can also be supplied with a gasoline engine.

Elation Hypercars, headquartered in San Jose, California, is set to launch the Freedom electric hypercar with a carbon fiber body and insane dynamics. It will be the first car of its class to be assembled in America, and its cost will be close to two million dollars.

Development of Elation Freedom began in Argentina and has been going on for the past six years. The project team consists entirely of engineers with experience in the construction of racing equipment for Formula 1, “24 Hours of Le Mans” and a number of European touring championships. The company considers hypercars to be their magnum opus, but so far they exist only in the form of renders, which, in general, does not interfere with collecting pre-orders, talking about “Silicon Valley-inspired engineering.”

Judging by the description on the site, the basis of Freedom is a carbon-fiber chassis with a suspension on double wishbones, push rods in a circle, as well as electronically controlled Ohlins shock absorbers and an electro-hydraulic ride height control system (50 or 100 millimeters, depending on the selected driving mode). The strength and rigidity of the monocoque exceeds FIA requirements. The traction lithium-magnesium-nickel battery is integrated into the power structure, has a T-shape and operates at 1000 volts.

The battery capacity is selectable. Elation offers 100 and 120 kilowatt-hour units, providing 482 and 644 kilometers of mileage respectively. They are powered by three liquid-cooled electric motors, the total output of which can be 1434 or 1929 horsepower with a peak torque of 1440 Nm. The wheels are driven via a two-stage gearbox at the rear and a single-stage gearbox at the front.

The most powerful version of Freedom is able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 1.8 seconds. The electronic speed limiter is triggered at around 414 kilometers per hour. The indicators, of course, are calculated.

For those who like cars with internal combustion engines, Đ•lation Hypercars is ready to build a Freedom version with a 750 hp Lamborghini V10 5.2 engine, a seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches and all-wheel drive. The dynamics of such a hypercar will be slightly worse: 2.5 seconds to a hundred and a maximum speed of 386 kilomers per hour. Everything else will be like an electric car, including Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston at the rear.

There is nothing superfluous in the interior of the hypercar – digital instruments and buttons for activating various systems. The decoration uses carbon fiber, leather with a natural grain surface, precious metals and stones. The Elation Freedom will be priced at $ 2,000,000 for the electric version and $ 2,300,000 for the gasoline Freedom Iconic Collection. The timing of the appearance of the first copies of the coupe has not yet been announced.
