In the trunk of the car preserved original chrome wheel covers
On an abandoned farm in Iowa, a Jaguar MK2 sedan was found, standing in a barn for about 36 years. The current site owner bought the farm at auction, but there was not a word about the car in the documents.
Found Jaguar is equipped with a top engine model for the model – a row “six” of 3.8 liters and a capacity of 223 horsepower. The sedan is also equipped with a limited slip differential, disc brakes on all wheels, power steering and automatic transmission. From zero to 60 miles per hour (97 kilometers per hour) such a car could accelerate in 8.5 seconds.
Judging by the stickers on the glass, the car was last recorded in 1983. The Jaguar preserved the original interior, although some elements require repair. In the trunk of a sedan there were factory polished hubcaps in perfect condition.
The price of the car after the restoration can reach 30-35 thousand dollars.
Earlier in the abandoned factory in Philadelphia, Packard Six of 1927, which had been standing there for more than 40 years, was found. Before the car belonged to the owner of the factory, which used it for daily trips. Vehicle mileage is about 16 thousand kilometers.
