An Italian startup has decided to build a hypercar with a neural interface for 150 thousand eurosFebruary 4, 2019
Italian startup Zava organized a fundraising through the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to build a running prototype of the electro-hypercar PrometheuS. The company believes that for this they will have enough 150 thousand euros. At the same time, track testing of a machine with a neural interface is wanted to be held already this year, and to bring to the market in 2020.
The design layout of Zava PrometheuS was shown last year at the anatomical show “Real bodies” (Real Bodies) in Milan. Electrohypercar will receive a full drive with thrust vector control on each of the wheels, steering the rear wheels, an active suspension and a four-engined powerplant whose power will exceed 1,360 horsepower and 1600 Nm of torque. Accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour PrometheuS will be less than two seconds, and its maximum speed will be 350 kilometers per hour.
Other features include a central location of the driver’s seat, a holographic control with tactile response, transparent panels of organic LEDs, radar and laser rangefinders, as well as all-round cameras. Also, the creators of PrometheuS promise a neural interface that will unite the driver and the car into one.
Until 2025, Zava plans to build 50 copies of Prometheus.
