An American has driven almost 2 million kilometers on the Hyundai Elantra in five yearsDecember 11, 2018
The company Hyundai awarded her with a golden frame for the number.
The forwarding driver Farrah Haynes has driven more than a million miles (1.6 million kilometers) on his Hyundai Elantra sedan since 2013. As a reward for this, the American office of the brand presented her with a golden frame for the number and refined the odometer, which did not show more than 999,999 miles.
On average, Haynes travels about 200,000 miles (320,000 kilometers) per year. Its sedan is still equipped with the original engine and looks no different from a conventional car. An exception is the tubular frame, installed to protect the front bumper. Having learned about Haines and her “Elantra”, the American office specialists installed a new odometer with the “1M” emblem on the car and presented a golden frame for the license plate marked “1 Million Mile Club”.
In 2016, Toyota presented a new Tundra pickup to a resident of the city of Houm, Louisiana, Victor Sheppard, who also drove more than one million miles in his car. An old pickup truck was sent to the Toyota plant in San Antonio, where it was supposed to be dismantled and studied in detail.
