The American company Scuderia Cameron Glikenhaus, known for its ultra-light supercars, will develop a waterfowl SUV for transcontinental travel. The car’s renders are published in Facebook on the page of the company’s CEO James Glikenhaus.

The concept of an off-road vehicle-amphibian provides for the creation of two cars – with a four-door and two-door body, which at the moment have the name Expedition and Steve, respectively. Technical characteristics are kept secret. Judging by the images, an off-road vehicle will be equipped with a swimming platform and two external motors, with the help of which the device will be able to overcome water obstacles.

Off-road cars will demonstrate their capabilities, climbing on Ojos del Salado in the Andes – the highest volcano on Earth, whose height is 6893 meters. After that, the cars will go on a transcontinental journey, which will begin in 2020. The expedition starts from Times Square in New York. The cars will cross Canada and Alaska, and then cross the Bering Strait with a width of 86 km and reach Russia. Then the team will visit Chinese Beijing, and then cross the whole of Siberia and the European part of the Russian Federation with a trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The expedition will finish in Paris.

SCG offers other automakers to develop their own off-road vehicles and join the journey. Americans also promise to arrange a dinner in Paris for all participants on the occasion of the end of the tour.

The latest development of SCG was the ultra-light supercar 004S. The main feature of the coupe was an unusual landing formula 1 + 2 – like the famous supercar McLaren F1. SCG 004S was based on the carbon architecture and bodywork, which made the car mass 1179 kilograms.
