Americans built a “thrice black” 510-hp Hummer H1April 26, 2019
The American company Mil-Spec Automotive (MSA) built the sixth instance of a restroom based on the Hummer H1. It will become part of the Launch Edition series, which will include 12 cars. An air suspension was developed for an SUV with automatic support for ground clearance and painted it in a combination of three shades of black.
The inspiration for MSA # 006 was the “Hummer” numbered “two”, equipped with a dual pneumatic system. Novelty staffed pneumatic racks of the second generation, which have the function of leveling the ride height. The Deep Sky Back body “hardtop” is combined with a dark interior: it is trimmed with leather, and unstuck is done with a laser.
All retomodes Mil-Spec Automotive equips the upgraded Duramax diesel with a return of 510 horsepower and 1356 Nm of torque. For an additional fee, a two-tier chip-tuning program is available for the SUV buyer. From a place up to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) Hummer with this engine accelerates in 6.8 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 169 kilometers per hour.
The company uses the first copy of the Launch Edition series SUV for promotional purposes and for media test drives, the second one was assembled on special order and equipped with Kevlar-reinforced body panels. The car at number 003 received a sports exhaust with a thermal insulation coating, a two-stage transfer case , reinforced drive shafts and the same 6.6 V8 engine. The fourth Hummer was equipped with 40-inch tires and a roof of aviation aluminum, and the fifth with pneumatic locks of the ARB Air Locker in both axles and automatic wheel inflation.
