American tuners have modernized Land Rover Defender 90June 3, 2020
California-based East Coast Defender has built a project called Project Family Vacation based on the 3-door Land Rover Defender 90.
This car differs from other tuned models in that it can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. 2 seats are provided in the front and 2 folding seats are installed in the rear in order to increase the luggage space.
All chairs are trimmed with leather with white stitching, the same material was used to finish the central armrest. The dashboard received wooden inserts and an analog clock between the ventilation deflectors, in turn, the steering wheel and sensors acquired a unique look.
The car is also equipped with a modern audio system and an infotainment complex screen with support for gadget integration.
Auto looks pretty simple, but attractive. The British SUV from a California studio is painted in green, contrasting with steel black wheels “shod” in BFGoodrich off-road tires. In addition, Defender 90 has steel bumpers, roof lights and a radiator grill, as well as a winch and a spare wheel on the hood.
The tuners also installed new brakes and suspension on the car, and they borrowed the 6.2-liter LS3 engine from Corvette. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The cost of tuning Land Rover Defender 90 from a California studio is not disclosed.
