The car owner got confused with the sale of his Ford car, for which he shot a whole movie with a cover of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights”.

Craigslist’s creative ads were popular a few years ago, and today online users and inventive car sellers have more opportunities than ever to share their wares, especially if their car is boring.

That’s exactly what John Gurk did when trying to sell his 2010 Ford Focus SE after spending a month with his friends creating a two-minute video ad uploaded to YouTube.

According to Goerke, who spoke with The Jamestown Sun, the ad’s plot – yes, it has a plot – is about a man going through a rough night who comes to life as he drives and drives a Ford. The video shows a man leaving town in a Hollywood blockbuster fashion before being stranded on a dirt road. The commercial ends with Görke getting out of the car, his shirt collar down, and a voice-over loudly says, “Bring coolness to this 2010 Ford Focus,” and the price flashes on the screen.

Görke was inspired by an ad from The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” music video, which has a cover in the ad. However, for all the creativity of the car, he failed to sell the car a month after uploading the video, which has received less than 8,000 views since it was uploaded on November 22.
