Alpina XB7 spotted at the NurburgringOctober 25, 2019
The big SUV took to the legendary track for test races.
Alpina XB7 spyware photos have already been uploaded to the Web, but new video is now available. The SUV was caught at the Nurburgring. The seven-seater is the largest SUV in the Bavarian brand lineup. In fact, it will be the most powerful and fastest X7 with a factory warranty you can buy.
Presumably, the automaker is working on two different versions of high-performance models. The less expensive will be a 3.0-liter in-line diesel with more than 394 horsepower and 760 newton-meters of torque.
In addition, the V8 will appear in the engine range, and judging by the sounds of the engine and the exhaust system of the prototype, this version is captured on video. Both engines will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all four wheels through the all-wheel drive BMW xDrive system. The gasoline engine will produce more than 600hp.
Alpina is known to launch the XB7 in Europe by the end of the year. The debut should take place a few weeks after the company unveiled the new B3 sedan at the Tokyo Motor Show. In the United States, the X7 is due in 2020 and will only be available with the V8 engine.
