All-wheel drive Fiat 500X Sport Edition will show in Los AngelesNovember 14, 2019
The sports version of the Fiat 500X 2020 model year with a modest appearance will be equipped with a standard AWD.
The 500X sports modification will join the Fiat lineup this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Visually modest model offers an updated body kit, a new Rovente Red body color and a more comfortable interior. Sport Edition is estimated at a minimum of $ 26,895, which is $ 2,300 more expensive than the base model. Deliveries will begin early next year.
For performance, the 500X Sport is exclusively responsible for the 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 177 horsepower and a torque of 285 Nm. A 9-speed automatic transmission is used as the transmission. An AWD drive with automatic rear axle disengagement is standard equipment to increase efficiency when torque is not required to be transmitted to the rear wheels.
In addition to the red color, Sport is distinguished by a more aggressive front panel with a lower air intake, corresponding side airbags, a new rear bumper and two chrome exhaust tips. The dark finish of the mirror housings, door handles and license plate frames underlines the striking appearance. LED headlights and fog lights are standard. A nice addition to the exterior of the 500X are 18-inch wheels, and 19-inch ones as an option. In addition to Rovente Red, customers can choose White, Black, Moda Gray and Italia Blue, as well as add a black roof.
The interior boasts sports seats and a steering wheel in techno-leather upholstery with Alcantara trim. The 7-inch infotainment display provides navigation and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ceiling features a dark upholstery. Safety technologies are available for an additional fee, including adaptive cruise control, front parking assistance, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-movement detection.
