Fiat’s “green” van has appeared in European car dealerships. So how does the electric Fiat e-Ducato differ from the ICE versions?

In Europe, local Fiat dealers have started selling the Fiat e-Ducato electric car. The electric novelty will reach its first customers in the 4th quarter of 2020.

In the market, the new electric van will have to compete with a number of serious contenders: for example, the Vauxhall Vivaro-e, Mercedes e-Vito and Citroen e-Dispatch.

The electric power plant can operate in four modes: standard, environmentally friendly, power-oriented (indispensable for trips with maximum load) and economical (needed when the van is “discharged”).

Fiat offers the novelty in two trim levels – Standard and eTechnico. Already in the “base”, the electric car receives climate control, a USB port, electrically heated exterior mirrors, multimedia with a five-inch touchscreen and much more.

The manufacturer has not forgotten about modern security systems: an assistant keeping track of the lane, a traffic sign monitoring system, etc.

In the performance of eTechnico, there are “foglights”, DRLs on LEDs, multimedia with a touchscreen that has grown to seven inches and expanded functionality, rear parking sensors, a leather-braided steering wheel, etc. The list of electronic assistants will also be expanded.
