Alieno Arcanum 5000 hp electric hypercar interior revealedOctober 2, 2020
People were enthusiastic about the idea of all-electric hypercars, of which the Tesla Roadster is an example. These silent machines promise high performance without compromising the environment.
Now that the race for electric supremacy is in full swing, many smaller competitors are failing. Companies like Rimac with its C_Two are still making a big splash, and now the Bulgarian Alieno has released some more teaser shots of the interior of its Arcanum hypercar, which promises to “blow up” all rivals with its huge performance.
The Alieno Arcanum is an all-electric hypercar that will produce a claimed 5,221 horsepower, a top speed of 488 km / h and a power-to-weight ratio of up to 2.64 hp / kg at its top trim. Orders for the model have been taking place since 2018, despite the fact that no prototypes have been seen yet. However, the company has released several new interior shots so far.
The interior is clearly dominated by hexagons, present in everything from door panels to multiple digital displays mounted on the dashboard, and adaptive LED lighting can change the mood with a tap of the screen. The cabin also features Alieno pre-preg parts in carbon fiber and Kevlar with leather and Alcantara, as well as bucket seats with racing six-point harnesses. The Arcanum is equipped with air conditioning, quick release steering wheel, robotic pedal, variable-ratio steering, and a large storage compartment behind the rear seats.
“This version of the Alieno Arcanum’s interior is an extension of the car’s exterior. The forms complement each other and the same visual language is used and conveyed internally, forming a symbiosis between the elements. The overall theme is ultramodernism with some sci-fi and futuristic accents. Our interior inspiration comes from the cockpits of military fighters and sci-fi films such as Avatar and Prometheus, ”says Encho Enchev, Alieno’s chief designer in charge of Arcanum design.
According to Alieno, the Arcanum will start at $ 878,000 for the base model to $ 1.75 million for the top model. Now all that remains is to wait to see if this electric hypercar becomes a reality.
