Company Alfa Romeo plans to revive the famous model of 8 C. As reported by Carscoops, the novelty will receive a hybrid power unit. According to unofficial data, it will include a 2.9-liter petrol V6 engine and an electric motor. The total power of the car will be about 800 hp. Acceleration to the 100 km/h at the sports car will take only 3 seconds.
For comparison, coupe and roadster 8°C Competizione, produced from 2007 to 2010, were equipped with a 4.7-liter 450-horsepower V8 engine from Ferrari. The coupe is able to dial the first 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The revived sports car Alfa Romeo 8 C will use a carbon fiber monocoque. It is expected that the novelty will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
Alfa Romeo plans to revive the GTV model. This new product will be a two-door version of the Giulia sedan with a 2.9-liter V6 engine and an electric boost system that will allow the engine to develop more than 600 horsepower. Classical GTV, the release of which was completed in 2005, was equipped with a 3.2-liter V6 with a capacity of 240 hp.
In addition, by 2022 the company Alfa Romeo should replenish its lineup with two crossovers. Earlier it was reported that the company is developing a flagship crossover, which will take place on the step above the model Stelvio.
