AEV brings three cool SUVs to SEMANovember 7, 2019
Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler, as well as a Ram HD pickup truck, underwent a “treatment course” at the American Expedition Vehicles tuning studio.
Every year, since 1997, the American tuning company AEV from Montana with its Jeep Wrangler (TJ) Brute, can count on the public to constantly admire wild off-road cars. This year, AEV has a brand new Jeep Gladiator, as well as a Ram and Wrangler pickup truck on the JL platform. So it was an extremely busy year for off-road professionals.
The result of this work was three stunning green AEV SUVs presented at the 2019 SEMA show booth. The biggest surprise was the Prospector XL, based on the Ram HD pickup, which received many improvements: new shock absorbers of the Bilstein 8100 XP cargo platform, branded bumpers AEV and a protective cover (as they say, all the first for this truck).
In addition, the truck was equipped with a highly aerodynamic-rated wing, a three-inch lift suspension, a Warn winch, power-assisted AMP side steps, an AEV cargo rack (which can be used to attach additional tires) and 17-inch Katla AEV wheels shod with in 41-inch off-road tires. It is worth noting that under the hood of the Prospector XL, a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel is installed.
Another long-awaited AEV car is the Jeep Gladiator. It is equipped with the same Bilstein shock absorbers as the Prospector XL, as well as the AEV tube, AEV bumpers with integrated Warn winch in front and 17-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires.
JL Wrangler receives many of the same improvements as Gladiator, but uses a different Bilstein installation. AEV now offers its own LED off-road lights; They not only look durable, but also extremely durable, have a warranty and are made in the USA.
