Acura improved the seven-seat crossover MDXJuly 17, 2018
Acura upgraded the seven-seat MDX crossover. The model received improved technical stuffing, advanced equipment and a “sport” modification of the A-Spec. Before this, the all-terrain vehicle was already being updated in the spring of last year.
The engines of the crossover Acura MDX remained the same: the model is offered with a 3.5-liter six-cylinder atmospheric and hybrid power plant based on a three-liter V6 unit with a capacity of 257 horsepower. At the same time, the company has completed the nine-speed automatic transmission, which will now “start” from the second transfer. The start-stop system was “taught” to start the engine faster than before.
In addition, the usual petrol version received an optional active suspension, which was previously only available for the electrified version of the model.
In the modification of the A-Spec, the all-terrain vehicle will look more aggressive – it will receive a different body kit, large round exhaust pipes instead of rectangular and 20-inch gray rims. In the cabin of such a car there will be sports seats, which can be trimmed with red or black leather, the decoration of doors with Alcantara, other design of the device and the overlays on the thresholds with the name of the version.
In addition, the model will be available four new body color, improved trim materials and front panel wood trim.
Sales of the usual gasoline version in the US have already begun – the crossover costs from 44.3 thousand dollars. A hybrid variant will appear at dealers in August.
