Acura has published a sketch of NSX supercarOctober 15, 2018
The press service of the Japanese automaker has published a sketch, which depicts electrified Acura NSX.
Painted by legendary automobile illustrator Shin Yoshikawa, this sketch of a Japanese car shows the technical component of the Acura NSX. Separately, we note that this is a drawing (it was painted by hand), and not a computer image. It remains only to guess how much time and effort it took to create it.
Mr. Yoshikawa was faced with the crucial task of showing both the mechanical and electrical components of the power unit of the Japanese Acura NSX.
In fact, the hybrid engine consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and three electric motors. The transmission is a 9-speed automatic transmission with 2 clutch, which transmits torque to four wheels at once (all-wheel drive Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive).
“The innovative hybrid powertrain of the NSX sports model was very difficult to draw,” said Yoshikawa. “It all comes down to detail. If you do not understand the technology that is used in the car, then you will not be able to build the car itself and even draw its layout. ”
Not so long ago, we wrote about the 2019 Acura NSX GT3 Evo racing version, which received a number of important updates.
