British actor and famous auto enthusiast Idris Elba presented a video that tries to answer the question: Do the machines have a soul? The video became part of the Grand Basel project, which aims to promote cars as a “cultural heritage”. The exhibition of the same name will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from 6 to 9 September this year.
The film is shot on the territory of one of the “industrial” attractions of Turin – the former Lingotto automobile factory. Its feature is the test track, located on the roof, which it was decided to save after reconstruction.
In the video you can see some of the most beautiful cars in the world: Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Zagato sample 1931 and supercar Zagato Mostro, presented in 2015.
The car is built for the 100th anniversary of the Maserati and is equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 engine with a power of 420 horsepower. “Monster” is equipped with a six-speed sequential gearbox and a differential of increased friction on the rear axle.
