Acceptance of orders for Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 PolestarOctober 21, 2019
Volvo has begun accepting orders for the new S60, V60 and XC60 Polestar models created in Britain. First deliveries should start before the end of this year.
The initial cost of S60 is 56 105 pounds, and V60 and XC60 – 57 205 and 64 545 pounds, respectively.
All models are equipped with a T8 dual-engine hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor with a total capacity of 600 hp. The S60 Polestar can accelerate to the first 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, making it the most dynamic Volvo car at the moment. Only on electric traction can it travel up to 44 km.
In addition to the attractive appearance, the S60 and V60 Polestar have Brembo brakes, while the XC60 received Akebono. All three models also have Ohlins adjustable shock absorbers to provide an excellent balance between handling and comfort, as well as a front strut.
External updates include glossy black accents on the grille, black chrome tailpipes, and 19-inch wheels for the S60 and V60 and 21-inch wheels for the XC60.
Inside the car there are golden seat belts, a dashboard with original trim, and additional lighting, in particular, the Harman Kardon audio system, a heated steering wheel and aluminum pedals.
In addition, it has recently become known that Volvo and Geely will combine their own motor units in order to get a new unit that will create ICEs and hybrids.
