ABT made of the Audi RS6-E hybrid: 1000 hp and 1291 NmJuly 5, 2018
German studio ABT Sportsline revealed the information about the world’s first hybrid super-Audi RS6. For the basis of the car took the already finalized in the ABT car, which was equipped with a new aerodynamic body kit and an electric motor with a battery pack.
The total output of the powerplant of the hybrid, consisting of a 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine, an electric motor directly connected to the driveshaft and a battery of 13.6 kilowatt-hours, is 1000 horsepower and 1291 Nm of torque. From 100 to more than 300 kilometers per hour, the hybrid RS6 can accelerate in 10 seconds.
Other information about the car has not yet been reported. However, it is known that the most powerful non-hybrid RS6, built by ABT, produces 735 hp and 920 Nm of torque. From a place to 100 km/h such a machine accelerates in less than 3.4 seconds. Its maximum speed is 320 kilometers per hour.
The output of the conventional Audi RS6 engine is 560 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. In the performance version – 605 forces and 750 Nm. Before “hundred” cars are dispersed for 3,9 and 3,6 seconds accordingly. The maximum speed in both cases is 305 kilometers per hour.
