Abarth gets special edition 595 ScorpioneoroAugust 28, 2020
The iconic Abarth comes with a new limited edition 595, an extreme version of the Fiat 500. With the Scorpineoro, Abarth pays homage to an exclusive ancestor.
The Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is an Italian tribute to the exclusive A112 Abarth Golden Ring. To most enthusiasts this “exclusive bomb” is better known as the A112 Abarth “Targa Oro”. In 1979, Fiat’s sports division built only 150 examples of this car. The new Scorpioneoro can look forward to slightly less exclusive status, with a total of 2,000 built by Abarth.
Since this is a tribute to the Golden Ring, the new exclusive looks very similar to its ancestor. It featured a black color scheme, gold accents and shiny gold alloy wheels. These parts can now be found in the Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro.
The 595 Scorpioneoro comes in black as standard, optionally in Podium Blue, Racing White or Record Gray, and gets a matte black checkerboard roof. Abarth has also added gold-colored details to the car, such as a scorpion on the bonnet, stripes and a set of 17-inch gold rims.
Under the hood is the well-known 1.4 T-jet petrol engine with 165 hp. To disperse from zero to 100 km/h Abarth takes 7.3 seconds. For fans of two-wheeled vehicles, Abarth also presents a special model 595 Monster Energy Yamaha. This motorcycle is a symbol of the collaboration between the two brands, which has been going on since 2015.
