The supercar belonging to the teenager’s father was completely destroyed
In Dallas, Texas, a teenager had an accident in a unique Pagani Huayra Roadster. As a result of the accident, the $ 3.4 million supercar is unlikely to be repaired.
A video posted on Instagram by eyewitnesses shows a destroyed roadster with airbags deployed. The driver’s door is lying on the asphalt in front of the supercar, and both front wheels flew further from the impact. The fragments of the carbon body were scattered several meters.
Later, netizens recognized the dark purple Huayra as a supercar that 17-year-old blogger Gage Gillian, the son of local billionaire Tim Gillian, has repeatedly boasted on his YouTube. Gage’s friend, who was also in the car at the time of the accident, said they had avoided serious injury.
Luckily for a teenager, the wrecked Pagani isn’t the only supercar in the family’s garage. In addition to him, Gillian’s collection includes McLaren Senna, Bugatti Chiron, Ferrari LaFerrari, as well as Rolls-Royce Dawn and Lamborghini Urus.
However, the billionaire will not be able to order the new Huayra Roadster: last week, Pagani announced the sale of the last copy. The Farewell supercar received exclusive design elements personally designed by Horatio Pagani. In total, the Italian brand has produced 100 roadsters.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster is based on the eponymous srendemotor coupe. It is driven by a V12 6.0 biturbo engine from Mercedes-AMG, which develops 764 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. It is paired with the Xtrac sequential box. From standstill to 100 kilometers per hour, the roadster accelerates in 3.3 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 370 kilometers per hour.
