A strange hybrid of Gelandewagen and Rolls-Royce from China
September 24, 2019Making an exclusive version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class a Rolls-Royce front end isn’t a good idea
Attempts to make your already exclusive car even more unique sometimes lead to very strange results. Someone turns his G63 AMG into a spectacular camper, and someone perverts his Cullinan with pimp tuning. But the owner of a very rare Mercedes-Benz G500 4×42 decided for some reason to cross an SUV with a Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan.
Such tuning does not lend itself to a rational assessment, especially since the total cost of crossed models exceeds the price of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan crossover (about $ 400,000), to which this “masterpiece” is remotely similar.
Perhaps the Chinese customer of the project was not satisfied with Cullinan’s patency, but at the same time I really wanted to conquer the terrain on the Rolls-Royce. Although it is more likely that the specific sense of beauty and the unlimited financial possibilities of a motorist from China affected.
