A small crossover Ford Puma will present in 2019April 3, 2019
The official presentation of the new crossover will be held this year. He will compete with the German VW T-Roc.
If you doubt the success of your car company, just add more crossovers – this seems to be the motto of the modern car industry. After yesterday’s presentation of the brand-new Kuga crossover (also known as Escape), as well as the hybrid version of the PHEV Explorer crossover, the American brand Ford has now launched an advertising campaign that is dedicated to another crossover that should appear on European streets later this year.
The novelty, which will be known by the name of Puma, will be a new small crossover, which in the current model range of the brand will be located above the EcoSport, but below the Kuga. He will compete with the German VW T-Roc.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Puma model was a pretty neat 2-door sports coupe. Like the EcoSport crossover, the new Puma will be built at the company’s plant in Craiova, Romania. Due to the fact that this published image is just a teaser, there are no official details about the new product yet. Thanks to insiders it is known that the new crossover will offer a load capacity of 456 liters, which, according to company representatives, is the best indicator in its class.
Under the hood of the new Ford Puma will be a 3-cylinder 1.0-liter unit EcoBoost family. In the new Puma, this motor with mild hybridization will develop 155 horsepower. According to representatives of the brand, the new Puma will spend about 5.4 liters per 100 km.
