A sketch for the off-road version of the Porsche 911 from the Gemballa studio has been publishedMarch 9, 2020
The German company published another teaser for the off-road performance of the Porsche 911 coupe. The official presentation of the new items is scheduled for the end of this year. No data on the price of a car yet.
You have probably already heard that the 26-year-old son of the founder of the German tuning company Gemballa, Mark Philipp, is trying to revive the spirit of the legendary supercar 959, released in the last century. The novelty will be built on the basis of a new generation of sports coupe 911, which in addition to the powerful hardware will also receive good off-road capabilities. The first teasers on the car were published at the end of February this year, and it was supposed that it would be presented behind closed doors at the Geneva Motor Show, but the event was canceled at the last minute due to an outbreak of coronavirus in Europe.
Another issue that Mark Philipp of Gemballa GmbH will face is the lawsuit, as tuning company Gemballa GmbH accuses Mark Philipp of trademark infringement and fraud.
Despite various obstacles in the direction of Mr. Philip, the car’s advertising campaign continues – a new sketch was released a couple of minutes ago. We can see the giant rear spoiler and massive wings.
The debut of new items is scheduled for the end of this year. Although the details about the off-road version of the 911 sports coupe are kept secret, we know that the project is fully funded and Mark Philippe has teamed up with some important names in the automotive industry: Akrapovic will help with the creation of the exhaust system, Khe will provide Michelin and BF Goodrich with tires Automotive will improve the suspension.
The company behind the ambitious project mentions that it has already taken pre-orders for the off-road Porsche, although we do not know how many cars will be built and what their price will be.
